A new form of hot spring therapy
Three days to relax from the core.
November 6th (Fri) - November 8th (Sun), 2026
Location: Kanagawa, Yugawara
In our daily lives, our minds and bodies become fixed and rigid without us even realizing it.
The "core tension" that cannot be reached by the heat of the hot springs alone,
The resonance of traditional Japanese physical techniques and art.
Then, with a playful spirit, we gently unravel it.

3-day experience
[Stay] Entire Uenoya, a nationally registered tangible cultural property, available for private rental.
The setting for this program is Uenoya, a long-established inn in Yugawara that has been making history in the area since the Edo period. The finest natural hot spring water, which has been carefully preserved by generations of "Yumori" (hot spring caretakers), will warm and relax your stiff body from the core.
This time, we'll have a special three days where we'll have this historic space all to ourselves.
Furthermore, the instructors who serve as navigators for this program will also be staying at the same accommodation.
As you enjoy dinner featuring the bountiful blessings of Yugawara, you'll enter a special "after-talk" session that only those present can enjoy. Building on the positive atmosphere of the daytime session, we promise you a luxurious evening of relaxed conversation and deeper dialogue with experts.
Rooms are limited. If you are interested, please register on LINE as soon as possible and let us know that you would like to stay at Uenoya.
Creating this special space requires the highest level of expertise.

Hidemasa Yatabe
body technique researcher
[Embodied Knowledge] This method unravels the refined bodily sensations that the Japanese have cultivated since ancient times, and develops a unique method to liberate the bodies that have become unconsciously rigid in modern people.
We design the core of the physical work in this program to guide participants towards "deep relaxation."

Fukumi Kitamoto, Clinical Psychologist
[Psychology & Art] We design a thoroughly psychologically safe environment so that participants can feel comfortable shedding the "armor" of social roles and titles. From the perspective of clinical psychology, we support delicate mental care for deep introspection and self-renewal.

Toshiro Inaba, M.D., PhD
[Medicine and Hot Springs]
A medical explorer who crosses the boundaries between cutting-edge modern medicine, the time-honored culture of "hot spring therapy," and art. Through "dialogue" using medical knowledge, we explore together the essence of life's autonomy and well-being.

Takashi Kokubo
Sound designer
[Sound and Relaxation] A leading figure in ambient music that incorporates the subtle fluctuations of nature, and a sound environment designer who designs the "sound" of urban spaces and society. As evidenced by his recent book "Designing with Sound," he goes beyond the realm of mere music, meticulously approaching human psychology and the parasympathetic nervous system. He naturally guides participants into a deep drowsiness and a state of relaxation.

International Society of Hydrothermal Techniques (SITH)
Hot spring doctor
A specialist in "balneotherapy," a well-established medical practice in Europe. Combining traditional Japanese "onsen therapy" with European "medical thermalism," they present a new model of health and self-regeneration.
*About SITH: SITH is an international authority based in Spain that researches and promotes the scientific evidence (basis) of spa therapy and mud therapy as medical treatments.

Hiroko Ishihara
Representative of Spafango Healthy Aging Association
[Planning, Operation, and Overall Coordination]
The initiator of this project, he proposes a new form of wellness suitable for the modern age by fusing "hot spring mud (fango) therapy," which is well-established as a medical treatment in Europe, with "onsen therapy" in Japan. He will bring together the top intellectuals in each field to comprehensively produce these miraculous three days.
